One of our vision pathways is Exalting Jesus through Service for the Sake of the World. Jesus teaches that He came "not to be served but to serve," and He instructs His disciples "whoever would be great among you must be your servant" (Mark 10:43-45). Service is a vital part of how we bear the image of Christ to one another, and God gives each of us unique gifts, strengths, and interests to that end. The question is not whether God wants you to serve, but how God wants you to serve, and what opportunities are available for doing so. Those opportunities are plentiful at Elkins Lake Baptist Church. Look at the list below, and contact us either to volunteer or with any questions you may have!

Greeters
From opening doors with a smiling face, to handing out gifts to guests, and even to helping attendees find the bathrooms, our greeters put the welcome of Christ into practice. To volunteer to serve as a greeter, contact Meaghan Deering at office@elbc.org.

Children's Ministry
Jesus instructs us to let children come to Him without hindrance (Mark 10:14). Our team of children's ministry staff and volunteers works alongside the families of our church to show Christ to their children and disciple their young faiths. To volunteer in the children's ministry, contact Tammy Davis at tammy@elbc.org.

Youth Ministry
For so many people, their teenage years are where their life with Christ is stretched and matured. The staff and volunteers in our youth ministry have the privilege of helping students take ownership of their faith and learn to live it out in their daily rhythms. To volunteer in the youth ministry, contact Caleb Withrow at youth@elbc.org.

Music Ministry
Worship is first and foremost in the Christian life, and each week we are led in worship by a diverse team of gifted musicians. We are always interested in adding voices to our choir or instruments to our instrumental group. To volunteer in the music ministry, contact John Green at john@elbc.org.

Audio/Visual
Comfortable lighting, balanced sound, engaging visuals, and thoughtful camera angles all contribute to the quality of our worship service and livestream, and are all the result of our hardworking media team. To volunteer for the A/V team, contact Sandra Bounds at media@elbc.org.

Building & Grounds
God has given our church beautiful facilities and grounds, and has entrusted us with working and keeping it (Gen. 2:15). Our building and grounds team tends to mechanical needs throughout our facilities and labors to maintain the loveliness of our campus. To volunteer for the building and grounds team, contact Meaghan Deering at office@elbc.org.

Photography
Moments of Christian fellowship, formation in Christlikeness, and encounter with God take place all the time, and in all sorts of ways, at our church. Photography enables us to capture and remember just a few of these moments in order to celebrate our life together and engage with our community. To volunteer for the photography team, contact Andrew Barrett at andrew@elbc.org.

Security
We want anyone attending the ministries of our church to rest in the knowledge that they and their families are safe. God is our ultimate Protector, and His safekeeping of our congregation is exercised through our committed security team. To volunteer for the security team, contact Meaghan Deering at office@elbc.org.
