WHY WE GIVE

We give because God gives. The Father gave His Son. The Son gave His life. The Spirit gives life. Our giving is not something God needs, but is an act of worship through which God forms us in His likeness and involves us in His purposes for our city, our state, and our world. Everything we do to Exalt Jesus for the Sake of the World is made possible by the generosity of people like you. When you give, you take part in the work of God to make Elkins Lake Baptist Church the church He wants us to be.

What we give toward

worship

Worship is first and foremost in the life of our church. Your generosity enables us to be led in worship by gifted staff and musicians, and to do so in a safe, comfortable environment.

Transformation

Every year, we witness men and women of all ages and walks of life coming to Jesus and experiencing the transformation that comes from Him alone. The programs, materials, and services that lead to such decisions are the direct result of your giving.

Mission

Our church engages in and gives toward numerous missions, evangelism, and outreach efforts. Those missionaries, and the places to which they are taking Christ, depend on the generosity of others. Your gifts do more than fundraise. They advance the gospel of Jesus.

Ways to Give

Scripture teaches that "each one must give as he has decided in his heart" (2 Cor. 9:7). To help you in making that decision, here are some different ways to consider giving to Elkins Lake Baptist Church.

Practice radical giving (>10%).

For online offerings, there is a fee that either the church or you can cover. For example, if you want to give $1, there is a $0.33 fee. You may add that fee to your offering, making your gift a total of $1.33, or the 0.33 will be subtracted from the $1 making your gift to the church $0.67.
