Andrew is grateful and proud to be married to Sara, a faithful follower of Jesus, an encouraging spouse, and an excellent mother. They have three children - Phoebe Jo, Micah, and Simon - through whom the Lord is blessing their lives and maturing them in Christlikeness.
Andrew has been the pastor of Elkins Lake Baptist Church since May 2023. He received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University, and a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
Andrew is passionate about proclaiming the heart of God revealed in Jesus Christ, and in leading others in their spiritual formation in Christlikeness.
The Barrett family enjoys time well-spent with their friends, especially over a meal. Andrew enjoys black coffee, good books, and watching and playing sports, most especially the sport of disc golf. He can often be found slinging discs at Eastham Thomason Park, sometimes pretty well, sometimes... not so much.

Tammy has been married to Doyle for over 30 years. They have lived in Huntsville since studying together at Sam Houston State University. They have raised two wonderful boys who are now beginning their own careers.
Tammy has been a member of Elkins Lake Baptist Church since 1992. She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Music Education from Sam Houston State University. She spent many years as an elementary school teacher before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She has served as the Children's Minister at ELBC since 2005.
Tammy has a desire to share Jesus and biblical truths with children so they can build a strong foundation for years to come. She enjoys the creativity it takes to engage young minds.
The Davis family enjoys being together with friends and family as well as spending time outdoors. Tammy loves quality time with her best friend over a good meal or while hunting for a great bargain.

Caleb withrow
Youth Minister
Caleb is the proud husband of his beautiful wife Cristina. The two met in Huntsville while attending Sam Houston State University, and since that time God has called them to remain in the area and continue being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Caleb has been the Youth Minister at ELBC since February 2023. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from Sam Houston State University, and he is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
Caleb is devoted to showing others the love of God, particularly through leadership, discipleship, and service.
The Withrows enjoy traveling and time well spent with friends and family. Caleb likes playing and watching sports, playing video games, and watching good shows with Cristina.
We love our church family and are excited to see what God will continue to do in and through the lives of His people!
